About Preloved Discounts

Preloved Discounts is a coupon site built on a simple idea: every code we publish should actually work. Not "worked last month." Not "works for some users." Tested at checkout, today, by a real person — and if it stops working, we take it down.

We're based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and currently list verified promo codes for around 100 retailers across every category — fashion, beauty, footwear, lifestyle, home, and more. We're a small editorial team focused on getting the basics right rather than racing to publish thousands of unverified codes for traffic.

Why We Started

Like most people, we used to spend time hunting for promo codes before buying online. And like most people, we kept running into the same problems: codes that had expired months ago, codes that just didn't work, and — most frustrating — coupon sites that overstated discounts to win clicks. A site would claim 50% off; the actual code would apply 10%, if anything at all.

After spending years working in affiliate marketing and e-commerce, we knew it didn't have to be that way. Brands genuinely want their discount codes to reach real customers. Coupon sites just needed to do the work of testing and verifying — instead of scraping and republishing whatever they found.

So we started Preloved Discounts to do that work properly. One brand at a time. One code tested at checkout. One honest listing.

What We Stand For

Working codes, regardless of region or cart size. Every code we publish has been tested globally — none are region-locked, none require a minimum spend we haven't documented. Whether you're shopping with a $20 basket from the United Kingdom or a $200 basket from the United States, the code we list is the code that applies.

Honest discount information. If a code is 15% off, we say 15% off — not "up to 50% off" with terms hidden three clicks deep. Shoppers deserve to know what they're actually saving before they get to checkout.

Daily re-verification. Codes change. Brands run conflicting sales that block external codes. We test every listing every day and remove anything that's stopped working — even if it costs us search traffic in the short term.

Where We're Going

Our long-term goal is for working discount codes to be effortlessly available, no matter what you're buying or where. Right now, applying a promo code at checkout still feels like a chore — you switch tabs, you search, you paste codes that don't work, you try again. It shouldn't be that hard.

We want to make checking for a discount before checkout as second-nature as checking the shipping cost. That means scaling Preloved Discounts to cover more brands across more categories, making codes more discoverable on social media where shoppers actually research before buying, and continuing to prove — listing by listing — that a coupon site can be genuinely trustworthy.
